Advance/Early Voting

(Monday to Friday 8 AM to 6 PM)

Must be registered by April 19, 2026 to vote in the May 19 primary. Online, mail, or in-person.Registrations for new registrants received between April 21 and May 18, 2026 are eligible to vote for the federal contest only.

June 16, 2026

Primary Runoff election day

7 AM to 7 PM

Georgia Registration Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen

Must be a Georgia resident and a Forsyth County resident (if registering here)

Must be at least 17½ years old to register; must be 18 by Election Day to vote

Must not be serving a sentence for a felony conviction (including probation or parole)

Georgia has no party registration — you do not register as a Democrat or Republican

You do not need a reason to vote by absentee ballot in Georgia
