A Message from Leto Copeley in support of Judge Bob Hunter for North Carolina Supreme Court.
In judicial races, most people just aren't very familiar with the candidates. That's why it is so important to spread the word about those who are best qualified to serve on our courts. This coming fall, voters will be deciding who should fill a vacancy on the North Carolina Supreme Court. I am writing to share with you my strong support for Judge Bob Hunter in that race.
Judge Hunter has served on the North Carolina Court of Appeals for 12 years, and during that time he has earned a reputation for fairness and common sense. Before taking the bench, Judge Hunter practiced law in Marion for 29 years and represented McDowell County in the General Assembly for 18 years. Unquestionably, Judge Hunter has the depth and breadth of experience we need on our Supreme Court. He has been endorsed by all the legal organizations making endorsements in his race, including the NC Association of Women Attorneys. We need Judge Hunter on our Supreme Court..
As you may know, this Saturday, August 7, is the North Carolina DAY OF ACTION! Here in Forsyth County, we'll be canvassing, phone banking, and doing targeted woman-to-woman letter writing to ensure the entire Democratic ticket surges to victory in November! But for this to happen we need you--the heart of the party--to come out and volunteer. You'll be receiving a phone call in the next few days--if you haven't received one already--asking you to help. Please consider donating more of your time. Forsyth County is a huge player in the state, and we can help Elaine Marshall and Billy Kennedy win. Let's keep North Carolina BLUE! It starts with you!
